I’ve been focussing on details in the Chassé Dance Studios. Details of the building and the way people are using it’s diverse spaces.
My attention was caught by the lockers in this end of the hallway.
Lockers are objects we’re all familiar with - and they make me curious: What’s behind the closed doors? Why choose the one in the top-left corner?
For me this collage stands for the interactions between the building and it’s users - the dancers.

A search for familiar or unknown objects. Making new connections.
Forming a storyline from my own point of view and interest.
Art can offer recognition while also opening up new perspectives. It can help us let go of the need to understand — and simply invite us to look. Something I embrace!
